The House of Lords Decision in Generics (UK) Limited and ors v H Lundbeck A/S has provided clarification regarding the sufficiency requirements of the (UK) Patents Act 1977 in relation to product claims.
This case concerned citalopram, a member of a class of anti-depressant drugs which inhibit reuptake of the neurotransmitter serotonin by nerve cells.
